5. Do you provide snorkeling trips?
Yes, we organize snorkeling tours in Cozumel. Families and non-divers enjoy shallow reefs, colorful fish, and corals while their friends or family dive nearby.
6. What happens if it’s raining in Cozumel?
Rain is common in the Caribbean, but it rarely affects diving. The water stays warm and clear. Trips only change if the port authority closes the marina due to strong winds or unsafe sea conditions. If so, we reschedule or find another day.
7. How long does each dive last?
We do not set strict time limits. Each dive lasts until your air supply or no-decompression limit. Most dives are 50–70 minutes, depending on your air use and comfort.
8. What if I don’t have a dive buddy?
No problem! We will pair you with another diver at your level, or you dive with a PADI instructor. You will always be part of a safe team.
9. What marine life and reef formations can I expect to see?
Cozumel belongs to the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world’s second-largest reef system. Depending on the season, you may see nurse sharks, turtles, eagle rays, and moray eels. You also see reef fish such as angelfish, parrotfish, and filefish. Corals include sponges, sea fans, and elkhorn corals. In winter, spotted eagle rays are a highlight.
In addition, Cozumel is famous for swim-throughs and tunnels. Sites like Palancar Caves and Santa Rosa Wall feature these natural passages. You glide between coral buttresses and archways filled with light.
10. What is the water temperature and visibility?
The water temperature is 26–30°C (79–86°F) year-round. The coldest months are January and February, closer to 26°C. Visibility often reaches 30+ meters (100+ feet), making Cozumel one of the clearest diving destinations in the Caribbean.
